Why You Shouldn't Have Resolutions: 2023

Don't waste your time!

January 1st always causes us to reflect on the past year, and we typically resolve to make some changes for the upcoming year. Unfortunately, fitness resolution failures have become memes and a sore topic for many. In our last email of the year, we want to share why you shouldn't have any New Years' resolutions this year.

Why You Shouldn't Have A New Years Health Resolution

It's Too Hard

Blunt honesty is our first point. Crash diets and shake plans work for a few weeks but let's be honest, changing our entire lifestyle to match the goals we have in our minds - is really hard work.

Meal prep, exercise, accountability, stress, time management, self-discipline, you name it! All of what is required is hard work that does not yield instant gratification.

Until you're ready to embrace the tough job of changing aspects of how you live, shop, eat, and play - don't resolve anything this year.

It Takes Time

How irritating is waiting? Our society is impatient. I'll be upset at the delivery man if my package is delayed. If I workout for a week and the scale doesn't budge, the program must not work.

Changing habits, letting results manifest, and embracing the journey takes time. If you don't have time to wait and need immediate results, we recommend not starting any resolutions this year.

Good things are worth waiting for. If you can't wait a year or two to see your resolution manifest, then wait to resolve anything this year.

It Costs More

Where your cash is, your heart will be also. You don't need to spend a fortune to get healthy, but you will be asked to pay the price.

The cost of change is expensive. It can cost you your money, your time, your promotion, your hobbies, and your comfort. So until you're ready to pay the price - don't resolve anything this year.

Obviously, this email aims to tell you the truth about what changing your lifestyle requires, and our mission is to support you on your journey.

If you say to yourself, "Something has to change." If you are willing to accept, it will be hard, it will take time, and it will cost you something. You will make it happen!!
